  A couple of months ago I had an extremely pleasant experience and cut and blow dry with a hairdresser called Julia here. Unfortunately she no longer works here now and I had Amanda. The whole unpleasant experience lasted only 22 minutes for £34. We initially had a normal exchange about the weather whilst my hair was washed, but no discussion re conditioner etc and she didn't notice water going down my neck. Prior to cutting she more or less told me what she was going to do and not very willing to listen to how I wanted it. I felt like walking out but hair already wet... I explained that I couldn't see much of what she was doing once I removed my glasses, but the first time she asked if anything about it was alright was at the end when already finished. I wasn't happy but thought I'd just go. She noticed I looked unhappy at this point so challenged me. I said that I wasn't happy with the whole rushed job. She said that was how she did it and I could have stopped and asked something if I wished. She was very offhand and blaming me though. I am normally a quiet, shy person and this is difficult to do. She did cut a little more off the top when asked but I'd had enough by then really. She was also telling me how unreasonable I was being whilst doing it. She also, in the initial cutting, caught my face a few times with the scissors without seeming to notice or care and chatted to another hairdresser over me whilst no attempt to talk to me about anything including my hair. She also dropped the comb and just carried on using it. I think she needs to learn more about customer care and courtesy. She must be costing this firm a lot on lost customers. It was such a shame as I was looking forward to going.
